These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Car Traders NZ website (www.cartraders.co.nz) and our services. By accessing our site or engaging with our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Our Service

Car Traders NZ purchases vehicles of various makes, models, and conditions, including running, non-running, and damaged cars.
We operate primarily in Auckland, but may also serve other cities in New Zealand depending on location and availability.
Our goal is to provide fair cash offers, fast service, and free towing for non-running or damaged vehicles.

2. Eligibility to Sell

You must be the legal owner of the vehicle and have the right to sell it.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about the vehicle, including its condition, registration details, and any finance owing.
If there is finance owing, we may work with your finance company to calculate and settle the outstanding balance.

3. Offers and Inspections

Initial offers are based on the information you provide via our website or by phone.
All offers are subject to a final inspection of the vehicle. If the condition differs from what was described, we may adjust the offer.
You are under no obligation to accept our offer.

4. Payments

Payment is usually made on the spot at the time of collection, either by bank transfer or cash, depending on your preference.
Payments are made in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
We may require additional identification or verification before payment is completed.

5. Vehicle Collection and Towing

Free towing is provided for non-running or damaged vehicles within Auckland (and in other service areas as agreed).
Collection times will be arranged with you in advance.
You are responsible for removing all personal belongings from the vehicle before collection. Car Traders NZ is not responsible for any items left in the vehicle.

6. Transfer of Ownership

Once the vehicle has been collected and payment made, Car Traders NZ will complete the necessary paperwork to transfer ownership.
You agree to cooperate with us to ensure the legal transfer of ownership is properly recorded.

7. Limitation of Liability

Car Traders NZ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our control (e.g., transport issues, natural events, system outages).

8. Website Use

You agree to use the Car Traders NZ website lawfully and not to engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activities.
You must not upload or transmit any harmful code, spam, or false vehicle information.
All content on this website, including text, images, and branding, is owned by Car Traders NZ and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy
By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as outlined in that policy.

10. Changes to Terms

Car Traders NZ may update these Terms & Conditions at any time.
